Cant you use two weapons at the same time as bucklers in PnP? I remember having my ranger with a rapier main, a main gauche offhand and a buckler on the offhand as well...

Was probably in the Temple Of Elemental Evil campaign!

*edit* That being said Im sure bucklers can be used while dual weilding, just not while using a two hander. I remember my PnP Swashbuckler/Mage Lord years ago used a finesse chainflail (kasuri gama?) which is one of the few finesse weapons they are two handed... yet it stopped him using his buckler according to WotC, okay Im rambling now
