Colibrus Sub-Faction

Now that the portal system in the Nexus was removed due to RP related events, it is impossible for a Colibrite to reach their faction store without passing through the IWD tunnels.

Colibrus Sub-Faction members can no longer access the comprehensive Black Hand store that Markus use to have since the move to CdG basement. So we must rely on the Enchanter's store in the castle for faction items.

I would like to suggest that Black Hand - Sub-faction Colibrus members be able to use their religious token to portal directly to Castle Nactura. This, combined with an nexus stone, would enable lower level faction members to get to their store without fighting in the IWD tunnels.

Cheers!

Erm. I'm kind of in favor of something like this. Holy symbols for us unholy types could perhaps at least take us to our temple sites. There is absolutely no way some lower level people can make the trip the long way through the tunnels to the temple. Traps alone are claiming a rather high casualty rate.

Not to intrude, as this has nothing to do with my own faction, but. Why not something like a magical mirror, placed in Sestra and the Estate, to teleport back and forth from? It could be dressed up as too expensive/impractical to service as well as the Nexus did prior in like mass troop movements, but grant a immobile means of letting you guys bounce out to the Wyntir estate without too much trouble. Just my thoughts, though.

Make the portal in the crypt functional to let the vampires go to their headquarters.

Yeah im more for a location, that lets you go back and forth, then the free item around your neck that lets you go when ever you want. OR make the other temple in Sestra into a Colibrus temple, and put the store there.

A static place-place system might be worthwhile, but not a wearable individual thing like before.

I am thankful there is general agreement that this suggestion is warranted. No matter the staff solution, it would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Just for clarification, both the Legion and Thayan factions sell items that let you transport from where ever to immediately outside their respective faction headquarters. Both of these items cost gold and have ~10 charges per. So this remains a possibility in spite of the BH portal system's demise.

Does this mean the dwarves can get a point-to-point tunnel?

We are in a similar situation. Our new recruits typically need to get to level no less than 10 before they are able to see their faction store. Granted this is pales in comparison to needing to be near epic levels..but...I will QQ all the same.

Could also aim for a key to the front gate. I don't think the mobs out front of the Wyntir Estate are too tough, are they? Could be wrong, as a wizard main, I constantly invisible and run for my amputated elven life, screaming all the while. Is there a way to get into Nachtura from the front? It'd be the same difficulties of the Exigo I imagine (recommended level 10 to get there) but level 10 is kinda a teensy level. Not that it should be a contest of whom has it easier then the other guy, but it -does- sound like a pain in the butt for the dwarves and the vamps. A key could suffice for a temporary aid until a point to point portal is made later on, as well! Not a cluuuuue how difficult it is to plug this stuff in, personally.
