Belated Update Notes - April 2014
This update went in a couple weeks ago. Here are the relevant notes:
Stalwart Defender *Defensive Stance moved to 4th level Because the stance now has unlimited uses, we want to make sure people will still invest in the class and not just dip into it for the mechanical gain. Sword Saint *Now receive Weapon Specialization and Greater Weapon Specialization as class features. The goal is for the Sword Saint to outperform the pure Fighter in damage output. This change helps to facilitate that. Warpriest *Inflame now 3 uses/day *Mass Cure Light Wounds now 3/uses day *Fear Aura now 3 uses/day *Battletide now 3 uses/day *Mass Heal now 2 uses/day *Implacable Foe now gives 60 bonus HP instead of 20 In considering Warpriest, we considered its half-caster progression against its class abilities. Basically, Warpriests gained 3 AB, 20 HP, and several single-use abilities at the expense of access to 9th level spells, Turning progression, and 12 spell slots. Also, Implacable Foe sucked. These changes make up, in a numerical sense, half of those missing spell slots. The War Priest should feel like an anchor for his party, and with more uses of Battletide, Fear Aura, and Mass Heal, he can more reliably get that feeling. Also, with the improvement to Implacable Foe, that ability actually becomes useful for mitigating some party damage before the next Mass healing spell. *Various bug fixes Last edited by DM_BAMF; 04-20-2014 at 12:54 PM. It doesn't, you can only do it five times. The only thing that changed is it takes me 30 seconds to reuse the skill if I move.
I like the idea but it just isn't working in game.
